Thyristor rectifiers for charging storage batteries

    1) used for charging lead – acid and encapsulated lead – acid storage batteries under maintenance or under low maintenance, with gas recombination (further referred to as SB);  
    2) for keeping SB under permanent charging;    
    3) parallel operation with SB for load supply;   
    4) to supply load with SB disconnected;
    5) to be installed into d.c. control boards. 

    The rectifier unit operating according to IU diagram ensures power supply to Customers and simultaneously charges the batteries.

    At disconnection of the supply circuit the battery ensures uninterrupted supply of the Customers during a present time; after the voltage recovery in the supply circuit the rectifier unit changes over to battery charging operation with simultaneous supply of the Customers. 

    Options:

    •  temperature compensation;
    •  manual equalizing charge;
    •  protection of SB from deep discharge;
    •  load distribution (output switches or fuses);
    •  monitoring; 
    •  insulation control (20 – 50 kΩ, 200 kΩ); 
    •  climatic design version (tropical 04); 
    •  dimensions – special, on Customer's request.
